Scything festival- Rural Craft Skills For Young People!
Saturday 17th -Sunday 18th July
Cylinders Estate, Elterwater, Langdale.
Sat 17th 10am-4pm:- Scythe workshops for young people & adults, including how to look after a scythe, peening, sharpening etc. £5
Sun 18th 2pm-5pm:- Anyone Can Do It! Family open day and displays. Learn basic scything skills, scythe clinic & sharpening, hay rope making etc. Childrens Eco-art workshops, refreshments and country craft displays.
