We weren't able to provide a summer activity programme in 2009 but in preparation for 2010, an activity day was run during the October half term. 46 Scouts and Explorers and 4 leaders went to Broomley Grange Outdoor Centre for a day of fun put on by Adventure North East.
We had a go at all sorts of activities as the pictures show (Holiday Activity Day slide show) and my favourite was the tree top walk but cooking lunch on camp fires was great fun too! Thanks to the ANE team for a fantastic day out and to all the leaders that helped.
The Easter 2010 programme will be out by the end of the spring half term and if any Eden/ Reiver leaders would like to help out with the days, I'd love to hear from you.
